Large industrial customers within IPL’s service territory can enroll via contract to curtail loads of 1MW or more during events.
Key details
Agreements are for a minimum of 8 years.
IPL provides 24 hours notice to participants to manually reduce load to pre-agreed firm levels during summer peak conditions.
Performance is verified via interval meters; participants must meet firm service levels to maintain incentives and avoid penalties.
