Key details

ORES publishes flexibility needs on the Piclo platform, specifying location, time window, and service type. Flexibility Service Providers (FSPs) submit price offers through Piclo, which are evaluated competitively based on cost and technical fit.

Activation orders are issued through the Piclo platform based on local network constraints. FSPs are notified in advance of the required activation window.

Settlement is based on measured delivery against agreed baselines and contracted parameters, with payments made to FSPs whose bids were accepted and successfully activated.
