Class A customers in London Hydro’s territory can participate by opting in annually and curbing load during top system peaks.
Key details
There is no competitive bidding; customers declare participation and receive cost reductions based on performance.
Dispatch occurs during the top five provincial system peak hours as determined by IESO.
Settlement is based on the customer’s Peak Demand Factor, which adjusts their Global Adjustment charge.
