Residential customers with eligible Wi-Fi thermostats can enroll and receive a $50 credit by allowing DTE to adjust their thermostat during summer peak events.
Key details
No bidding; participants are paid $50 annually for remaining enrolled through the season.
Dispatch is automated through thermostat APIs during non-holiday summer weekdays, events last for up to four hours between 12 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Participants receive a bill credit at season’s end for participation.
